NO!, no substance contained in CHIOMAKER® products has been tested on any type of animal.

YES!, all raw materials and substances in the products used comply with the EU REACH Regulation 1907-06* .

* In 2006, Regulation (EC) no. was approved by the Member States and the European Union. 1907/2006 (REACH, Registration, Evaluation, Authorization of Chemicals).

One of the aims of REACH is to generate information on all chemical substances used in the EU to ensure their safe use and eliminate the most dangerous ones.

At the same time, REACH promotes the competitiveness of the European chemical industry and the use of alternative methods for hazard assessment with the aim of reducing the number of tests carried out on animals.

The REACH regulation requires companies to register chemical substances produced or imported into the EU in quantities equal to or greater than one tonne per year.

This has led, since June 2018 , to the registration of around 30,000 existing chemical substances.

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) is established to manage the technical, scientific and administrative aspects of this Regulation and to ensure consistency at Community level in relation to these aspects.

The CNSC has the role of Italian liaison with ECHA.

The packaging of each CHIOMAKER® product is purchased from suppliers exclusively dedicated to the cosmetic and food sector, who guarantee compatibility with the product contained and conformity of the materials used.

YES, we keep every single CHIOMAKER® product and update the Notified Product Information Document (PIF) , and it will be made available to the Competent Authorities who request it on behalf of the Responsible Person.

We have all CHIOMAKER® products produced by various Italian companies that work on behalf of third parties for well-known and prestigious brands with over 50 years of experience.
